Writer's Choice Introduction

For my writer’s choice I decided to use my timed writing from Intermission Two. This particular writing is on the movie Lone Star. I chose this because I have had a difficult time with my timed writing assignments. I have also had a difficult time writing good essays, but having a time limit makes it even worse. This paper is strong because it has great examples from the movie to help the reader understand the different points that I make. This is especially true in paragraphs two to four. Just one example is from paragraph four. “During my class discussion, it was brought up that Sheriff Wade is considered a bully. There are several scenes in this movie that display that. One is when Sheriff Wade stops a Mexican and asks him if he is smuggling illegal aliens into Texas. The Mexican denies it and when he turns around Sheriff Wade shoots and kills him.” Showing examples of what you are trying to say can sometimes be difficult. However, in this case I feel I did a great job.
